How it works
Microneedling creates thousands of precise, microscopic channels in the skin with a medical-grade device. These micro-injuries are too small to cause lasting damage, but they are enough to trigger your body's healing response: more collagen, new elastin, and faster skin cell turnover.
We use the SkinPen Precision, the first FDA-cleared microneedling device in the United States. Its needle depth adjusts from 0.25 to 2.5 mm, so treatment is tailored to your skin and the area being treated.

What to expect
Consultation and skin assessment
We review your skin history, goals, and any contraindications. This shapes the needle depth, the number of passes, and whether topical serums applied during treatment are right for you.
Topical numbing
A prescription-grade numbing cream is applied and left on for 30 to 45 minutes before we begin. Most patients find the procedure comfortable to well tolerated.
Treatment
The SkinPen is passed over the treatment area in a controlled, systematic pattern, and adjusted in real time for skin thickness and your tolerance. A full face treatment typically takes 20 to 30 minutes.
Soothing and aftercare
We apply a calming serum or mask after treatment. You leave with written aftercare instructions and product recommendations to support healing at home.
Downtime
Expect redness and mild swelling for 24 to 72 hours, similar to a moderate sunburn. Most patients return to work within 1 to 2 days with mineral makeup as coverage. Peeling or dryness is common in the days that follow and is a normal part of renewal.
Avoid active skincare (retinoids, acids, exfoliants) and direct sun for at least one week after treatment. SPF 30 or higher is a must during healing.
When you will see results
First improvements in radiance and texture often appear within 2 to 4 weeks. The deeper benefit, new collagen and elastin, keeps developing over the following 3 to 6 months.

Microneedling is appropriate for most skin types and tones. It stimulates the skin's own processes instead of using heat or light, so it carries a lower risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation than some laser treatments. That makes it a strong option for deeper skin tones.
It may not be appropriate if you have active acne breakouts in the treatment area, certain skin conditions in a flare (like eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea), a history of keloid scarring, or are currently pregnant. A thorough consultation lets us identify any contraindications first.
